HOW WE STARTED
Gyan Gange started in 2022 from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. We are not a big edtech company with lots of money and TV ads. We are just a small group of parents and teachers like you. We sat together in a small room in Ballia and asked one simple question – “Why should good education cost ₹20,000 per year when a farmer earns ₹10,000 per month?”That question changed everything. In 2022, we met hundreds of mothers in Ballia district. Every mother had the same pain. “Didi, tuition fees is ₹2000 per month. I have 2 children. That is ₹4000. My husband earns ₹12,000. How will we eat if we pay this?” We saw fathers selling their goats to pay for board exam coaching. We saw children leaving school in Class 8 because parents could not pay for science tuition.That day we made a promise. We will make a platform where Class 1 to 8 education is fully free for life. And board exam plus job exam study will cost in rupees, not thousands. Education should not be for selling. It should be a right. With this strong wish, Gyan Gange was born.
OUR MISSION – FREE EDUCATION FOR EVERY CHILD
Our mission is very clear. Every child in India should get good education for free. Other institutes sell courses for ₹15,000 to ₹50,000 per year.
